Ben has recently returned to DJing since learning on vinyl back in the early 2000s. In his late teens he was into trance but then became interested in progressive house after hearing Sasha for the first time at Cream. His interest in prog-house led him to Fabric due to the residency Sash & Digweed had when the club first opened. This was where he got a taste for techno and tech-house, listening to DJs like Terry Francis & Craig Richards - still big favourites of his.
In the early 2000s, whilst in living in Bristol, Ben came second in a NuBreed competition run by the local progressive house night, Empathy, run by Stuart Wilkinson. This earned him some regular warmup slots before he moved to London. Ben's DJing was put on the back burner for a quite a while but he's now keen to get back into mixing on a more regular basis.
His core sound is best described as percussive, trippy tech-house/deep-house with forays into techno. His favourite producers at the moment are James Dexter, Okain and Mihai Popovicui
