Thomas Marks is a sussex based DJ/Producer. He plays and produces all genres of house music and is a rising artist in this field, born & raised in south london he was heavily influenced by the underground club & pirate radio scene of the time playing Hardcore, jungle, drum & Bass & US/UK House & Garage music.
For the past 7 years he has moved over into the music production side of things with releases on labels such as : Unrivaled Music, Krafted Digital, First Steps, Near Dusk, Total House, Krafted Underground, Form & Function, Fly in a Jam, Endemic Digital, Electric Neon, Release London Records. Also forthcoming releases in the near future with Mole Music & Lisztomania Records.

Where are you from? London, now living in sussex.
How long have you been DJ’ing? 17 years on & off.
What got you into being a DJ? My love of all forms of music, and listening to all the pirate radio stations in my youth.
When was your first exposure to electronic music? Around the age of 10 or 11.
Who are your musical influences? In house music they are, Eric Kupper, Grant Nelson, Masters at work, Kerri Chandler, Kings of tomorrow, Sean McCabe, Richard Earnshaw, Todd Terry, Reel People, Jeremy Sylvester, Richard Purser & Mike Dunn to name just a few!!.
Do you produce your own music? Yes i do.
Are you signed to a record label? I am signed to : Unrivaled Music, Krafted Digital, First Steps Recordings, Near Dusk, Total House, Krafted Underground, Form & Function, Fly in a Jam, Endemic Digital, Eletric Neon and Release London Records. Also recently to Mole Music & Lisztomania Records with a couple of forthcoming releases.
Do you ever play live or do you just DJ? Just dj'ing at the moment but would love to experiment with a live set up as well.
Who are some live acts that inspire you? Kink, Ame, Octave One.
If you could go to one gig tonight where would you go? Sonus Festival, Croatia.
What can we expect from you this year? A lot more DJ'ing and production work.
What would you say the single most vital piece of tech is? My phone!!.
If you could give any advice to young DJ’s just starting to get into DJ’ing what would it be? Just play the music you love the most and do not follow what everyone else is doing.
